As a family with two children aged 5 and 7, we stayed at Terra Verdon at the end of July 23. We really liked this quiet campsite with lots of entertainment for young and old. The children were clamouring for the kids club and it was with great pleasure that we put them on the Thursday all-day programme. This gave us the opportunity to take a sports class with Sakina who is a real coach with good advice and a great level. It’s great to have ‘professional’ activities. The campsite is ideally situated. Close to the Castillon lake (siroko base) where we can hire paddle, canoe or pedalo on calm, clear water. A one-day tour of the Annot sandstones (don’t forget to pick up the game leaflet at the Annot tourist office, on the same car park where the hike starts, for the little ones, with a small gift as a reward at the end). An excursion from the Sanson car park along the Gorges du Verdon with its 650m tunnel (come early to get a parking space – €7). Above all, we recommend the two free excursions planned with the campsite: Notre Dame du Roc and Les Sirinéens. And don’t forget to make the most of the campsite’s pools and slides and the many bouncy castles for the children, while our parents enjoy a game of beach volleyball or pétanque.
